Wholesale Dealer Terms

These terms govern applications, purchases and resale through the Mendota Pet wholesale program. By submitting a wholesale application or placing a wholesale order, you confirm that you are authorized to act for your business and agree to these terms. Any separate written agreement with Mendota controls where it expressly differs.

1. Approval and account information

Wholesale access requires Mendota's approval. Applying or creating a login does not grant approval, pricing or credit terms. Provide accurate business, contact, resale and tax information and notify us of changes. Approval is limited to the business and sales channels we authorize; it cannot be transferred to another seller. Keep account access secure and limit it to authorized staff.

2. Approved resale channels

You may sell Mendota-supplied products through your approved physical business locations and through customer-owned websites that Mendota has approved in writing. Each website domain requires approval before sales begin. Approval of a wholesale account does not automatically approve any website or additional sales channel.

Sales, listings and offers through third-party online marketplaces are prohibited unless Mendota gives specific prior written authorization. Examples include Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Etsy, TikTok Shop and the Shop marketplace. A customer-owned website built on Shopify or another ecommerce platform may be approved; that approval does not extend to the platform's marketplace or other third-party sales channels. Do not supply intermediaries or other resellers for the purpose of circumventing these restrictions.

3. Brand-keyword advertising

Obtain Mendota's prior written approval before intentionally bidding on or targeting Mendota brand keywords in paid search advertising for pet products. This includes Mendota, Mendota Pet, Mendota Products, DERMagic, our corresponding brand domains, and recognizable misspellings or close variations used to target searches for these brands. Approval must identify the advertiser, approved website and permitted campaign scope.

Generic product advertising, such as ads targeting “dog leashes,” and ordinary organic search visibility are permitted. This restriction does not prohibit truthful product descriptions on approved websites or incidental matching of a generic campaign to a brand-related query. Advertisers must not use generic campaigns to deliberately evade the approval requirement. Ads and landing pages must clearly identify your business and must not imply that you are Mendota, our official website, or an exclusive representative unless authorized in writing.

4. Product and brand presentation

Use accurate product descriptions and approved brand materials. Do not alter trademarks or make unsupported product, health or performance claims. Permission to use brand materials is limited to promoting authorized sales and ends when the relevant authorization ends. You independently determine your resale prices; these terms do not establish a minimum resale price.

5. Shipping, returns and order issues

Shipping charges and arrangements are those shown at checkout or separately confirmed for your order. Contact us before placing a time-sensitive order or if you need instructions for backorders or partial shipments. Request authorization and return instructions before sending products back. Report damaged, missing or incorrect items promptly with the order number, affected SKUs and photographs where helpful. We will review the issue and confirm the applicable resolution; these terms do not create an automatic return window or restocking charge.

6. Compliance and account status

Comply with applicable laws and the sales-channel and advertising permissions issued for your account. Mendota may suspend or end wholesale access for violations and require unauthorized listings, ads or brand use to stop. Contact us for written approval before adding a website or starting a covered brand-keyword campaign. Material changes to these terms will be identified when communicated; maintain a copy of the terms accepted for your account.
